What to Expect

On this wellness escape, guests will visit Goa. India’s golden state, one of the world’s leading exotic destinations that inhabits a rich range of natural and historical attractions. Did you know that Goa is one of the largest biodiversity hotspots in India and over a third of Goa is covered by forest.

Goa has many sights to see, Aguada Fort, a majestic fort in Goa with a breath-taking view of the Arabian Sea. An impressive well-preserved seventeen century lighthouse built by the Portuguese architect Julião Simão. It is one of the most visited site-seeing attractions in Candolim

On the other side, we have another historical attraction that has splendid views overlooking Vagator Beach and capturing all angles of the Arabian Sea. If you love Bollywood movies, you’ll recognise Chapora Fort, popular Bollywood films were shot in this spectacular place – great for candid pictures.

One of the oldest historical and religious sites in Panaji is SE Cathedral. A Portuguese Manueline style, reaching up to 250 feet (76 m) in length and 181 feet (55 m) in breadth  – this Roman Catholic church built by Portuguese colonialists is a must see.

The real treat in this itinerary is the visit to the natural attractions: Sahakari Farm located in Ponda with its impressive range of aromatic spices, fruits and trees – it won’t fail to give us an amazing opportunity to learn and discover holistic ingredients which can aid into our wellness lifestyle.

In addition, Dudhsagar waterfall, just 60km from Panaji is the 5ft largest waterfall in India and a magnificent waterfall at that, named the “sea of milk”, in reference to the milky white water of the Mandovi River that falls steeply over the cliff, and then travels west to meet the Arabian Sea. It’s a natural treasure that’s surrounded by lush green ghat (greenery) – perfect for nature lovers and relieving stress.

Finally, the itinerary wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Calangute. It is home to the largest and cleanest beach in North Goa with a marketplace that flourishes on local hand-made jewelry, textiles, carpets, spices and meat.
