Smoothie Making Class

Using a variety of fruits, seeds, nuts, leafy greens and vegan milks.

traWell’s Smoothie Making Class

Smoothies are full of nutrients and flavour. They are great at subduing food cravings and can keep you away from junk food. It’s an excellent alternative to snacking: packed full of fibre, it makes you feel fuller for longer. Consuming nutrients in liquid is much easier for digestion and assimilation too.

traWell wants to bring your creative juices to the fore through our smoothie making class. You’ll learn the fundamentals of how to make your own healthy and nutritious smoothies through our tutorial guide.

You’ll quiz the traWell concierge on the benefits of various fruits, seeds, nuts, leafy greens and vegan milks

traWell Smoothie Ingredients

It’s the information age, and we’re more acutely aware and educated about our food and diet than previous generations.

Team traWell have collated the best ingredients to add into your healthy traWell smoothie:

1. Fruits

Fruits give a wonderful base flavour to any smoothie. Full of colourful antioxidants, they provide vital vitamins and minerals while clearing out your digestive system. Our chosen fruits:

  • Berries: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries
  • Mango
  • Pineapple
  • Peach
  • Banana

2. Nuts & Seeds

Most commercial store bought smoothies are loaded with carbohydrates but lack protein, healthy fats and fiber. Adding seeds & nuts help regulate the digestive system. At traWell we’re head over heels in love with:

  • Chia Seeds
  • Hemp Seeds
  • Flax Seeds
  • Pecans
  • Almonds
  • Walnuts

3. Leafy Greens

Leafy greens are low in sugar and nasties. All the greens listed can help support a healthy weight, fight inflammation and even lower the chances of getting chronic diseases. Our chosen leafy greens:

  • Kale
  • Rocket
  • Swiss Chard
  • Celery
  • Parsley
  • Spinach
  • Bok Choy

4. Vegan Milks

Adding vegan milks can give your smoothie a creamier taste. It’s cholesterol-free and contains less fat than dairy’s milk. Our chosen vegan milks:

  • Soya Milk
  • Almond Milk
  • Coconut Milk
  • Oak Milk
  • Rice Milk
  • Hemp Milk
